The new changes to the GED exam will greatly benefit potential employers. There has always been the danger of getting employees with academic certificates but who are unable to fit well in the work environment. The new GED® exam is set to address that weakness. A productive employee is one who can analyze situations and come up with appropriate solutions. Likewise, post-secondary educational institutions want to welcome students who have what it takes to appreciate more complex matters and even do research. Since the beginning of 2014, there are two alternatives to the GED available in the ., the TASC and HiSET exams. These tests are (in most states that use them) offered both on paper and on a computer, and the come with their own different scoring systems.
